Saturday July 28 2007 was a long anticipated day for many a guy in our home and at church. It was the "Paintball War". An all day all male event... Here are some of the pics we took

7 months ago...

Seven months ago back in the cold wintery month of December our small family of six, and our friends The Erbers embarked on a drive that would change our lives. We left for the O'Hare airport with joy and excitement in our hearts.

(and we thought we where a good size family then)

Where we were to wait in the halls, like so many other travelers, and waiting family members had waited before us.
And there we did wait...waited and watched .
Then we saw what we had been waiting for and our hearts rejoiced as Elearnor, Erik, and Maggie walked through those glass doors that we had been staring through for so long.


7 months have gone by since the 18th of December,
We have gone places, met new people, and learned many new things, but we no longer do it as a family of six
we do it as a family of nine!
May God be praised for all of His blessings.

Thanks again Erbers for coming with us and Church family for your support and encouragements through out the many months of waiting.

Wednesday we spent the day Williamsburg.

We spent Thursday first at Jamestown Island, and then at Jamestown Settlement.
In the morning it was cold an there was a few drops of rain, but by afternoon it cleared up.
