Hair-do

This was their poor victim, Uncle Eddie

this is what they did to him.
And here is a picture of all three.

Friday evening while we where all sitting around talking after a good dinner, Eleanor decided she was going to Fancie-up her Uncle Eddie's hair by putting some of Maggie's hair clips in it. It was a lot of fun to watch her trying to get them to stay. But after her hard labour and Uncle Eddie's quite suffering she did succeed to get 6 to stay... then Maggie came in the room and said " Oh my hair things Uncle Eddie is wearing my hair things".

Granny Christmas

Two days after Christmas we packed up and headed south to Campaign IL. destination...the Dodges house, and to see Granny. The Dodges where the gracious hosts/hostesses to our family, the Lang family (who drove in from Virgina) and the Revell family who came from Ky. There was only 37 of us in all but we still had fun.

Today is Got'cha Day

It has been one whole year since we made the trip with the Erber family to the O'hare airport to pick up our 3 new gifts. It has been a year of events, of seeing God's providence...and of course growing closer together as a family.

This morning I asked Eleanor if she new what happened today one year ago and she said "yeah...it was when we became a big family". Well I could not have said it any better.

At some point during most family gatherings Grandpa gets out his accordion and plays, hymns, and other songs for us... this Thanksgiving was no different.
