A day in Williamsburg


Wednesday we spent the day Williamsburg.

Jamestown Island and Jamestown Settelment


We spent Thursday first at Jamestown Island, and then at Jamestown Settlement.
In the morning it was cold an there was a few drops of rain, but by afternoon it cleared up.

Evin, Eleanor, Maggie, Stuart, and Erik, trying out a canoe.

Fort Pocahontas

Friday and Saturday we spent at Fort Pocahontas. Where there was balloon rides, bugs, good speakers, music, and lots of people.
We saw the Children's monument unveiled and the time capsule laid in the ground Friday afternoon.

And the guys where able to do the reenactment of the Second Virgina Convention that night
(I must say they all look very nice in their wigs:)


Saturday night all of the Jamestown Quadricentnnial celebrations where finished with fireworks

Little "Maggster"

Here are a few pictures of the youngest in our family.
The other day Evin was looking out his collection of Baseball caps
and Maggie was modeling them for him.


Stuart and Eleanor got into the hair stuff and where trying to see how many headbands they could put on Maggie
