Today is Got'cha Day

It has been one whole year since we made the trip with the Erber family to the O'hare airport to pick up our 3 new gifts. It has been a year of events, of seeing God's providence...and of course growing closer together as a family.

This morning I asked Eleanor if she new what happened today one year ago and she said "yeah...it was when we became a big family". Well I could not have said it any better.

The Christmas Program

Last Sunday our church had our annual Christmas program. Stuart and Evin said a poem, and Evin, Eleanor, Erik, and Maggie sang Away in the Manger with our Christ Church Children's Coir. There was lots of music, food, laughing.

Last Saturday some of the kids headed by Grant undertook to make two gingerbread houses...which we then ended up taking to church the next day for the Christmas program.
