A few sundays ago we had some friend over for another "Food, Fire, and Fun"

After it got dark we all came inside and played a few rounds of telephone charades, breaking teams up into parents vs. kids. Later on the kids went upstairs to play whonoou.

After church Sunday we had some families over. Well were planning on sitting around by the bonfire buuuttt....the October winds quickly swept that idea away.

we also a new version of volleyball called "windy ball" it is exactly the same as the original way but with an element of surprise added in .lol

whats been happening

-the new look no more braces for grant. Monday he went and got them off and he is enjoying the freedom of being able to eat what ever he wants (with in reason of coarse:)-Birthday Girl

last Saturday we celebrated miss Eleanor's 9 birthday

the new style hat for fall (I think it will just the thing for rainy days)

-Baby Bird the 5 younger kids where playing outside the other day and found a baby bird. Stuart and Evin have been feeding it and taking care of it for the past week.

-No more purple we have been painting our living room.
So after 2 coats of primer and three coats of paint and many hours of work, we now have a very yellow room :)

Visiting Pawpaw and Grandmaw

The Monday after Lauren's party we all packed up and headed down to Kentucky to see Pawpaw. On the way we stop off in Campaign Il. to exchange our two dogs for two cousins...lol...then it was back on the road again.
We had a great time visiting with everybody. (and sharing colds:)

One of the big highlights of the week was, some of Pawpaw's friends have a nice pool and they let us come spend an afternoon in it.

Lauren's 18th Birthday party

On July 12, Lauren had her 18 birthday party. It was held at her grandparents house. There was dancing games food and lots of smiles.
